Simac ICT Belgium starts a new phase in its longstanding relationship with network specialist CommScope. Simac's Cabling & Infrastructure department was recently recognized as an Elite Partner for CommScope's infrastructure products. Elite Partner is the highest level in CommScope's partner structure and Simac is the only Belgian partner with that label. Also, Simac includes the Ruckus range (network switches and wireless solutions) in its offer.
The relationship between Simac and CommScope goes back many years and the Systimax structured cabling of CommScope already found its way to many a Simac customer. This long-term partnership is now confirmed with the highest level of recognition in CommScope's renewed partner program. To achieve this status, Simac had to meet strict conditions, including training and certification of both technical and sales personnel. Naturally, the drawing up of a business plan also played a major role, in which Simac describes how they put CommScope in the spotlight with their clients.
"We are extremely proud to be the only Belgian partner to carry the Elite Partner logo," says Andy Vanbrabant, Director of the Cabling & Infrastructure division of Simac ICT Belgium. "It is our strategy to offer our customers only the best products. CommScope has a history of serving large clients to support their mission-critical applications. Being able to collaborate with CommScope in itself, equates to a quality label. Becoming an Elite Partner is an acknowledgment of the qualitative services for which Simac is renowned.”
CommScope is happy to work with Simac: "We are always impressed by the knowledge and expertise of Simac C&I and the way they introduce us to their clients", says Rogier den Boer, Director BeNeLux, Enterprise Sales at CommScope. "Simac listens very carefully to the client, captures his needs and always offers specific advice on all possible options. Besides, they provide an installation that works flawlessly. CommScope certifies all installations and in the case of Simac we know invariably that everything will be perfect".
Incidentally, Simac's Cabling & Infrastructure department is expanding its relationship with CommScope by including the Ruckus range of network products in its offer. "Traditionally we focus on passive components," says Andy Vanbrabant, "but more and more often we also get demand for active network components such as switches and access points. The fact that Ruckus is now part of their portfolio means that CommScope increasingly serves as a one-stop-shop for us".
"Customers often need both fixed and wireless connectivity," says Rogier den Boer. "The addition of Ruckus enables Simac to meet the needs of its customers with regard to the roll-out of their communication infrastructure even better."
