Simac ICT Belgium keeps up the positive trend. Loyal customers prolonged their relationship with us, the different divisions fine-tuned and extended their offerings and emerging technologies play an ever bigger role in our go-to-market.
The Integration Division enjoyed an excellent fourth quarter with regard to order intake. It secured a number of deals for storage, networking and services. Among these contracts was our biggest win in the last 15 years – a networking and security project with one of the largest healthcare institutions in Belgium. At the forefront of innovation, we delivered interesting projects in the Internet of Things and for Blockchain in the supply chain.
Our Business Management Solutions Division again focused on large international telecom companies and large enterprises in financial services. In this niche segment, new long-term deals were sealed with new customers. 2019 was also a year in which we integrated Wavetel and Simac. This integration is going well and resulted in new customers to Simac.
Professional Services had, on average, between 80 and 90 consultants seconded to international customers last year. 2019 was also a very productive year in terms of higher yields for a number of customers.
Cabling and Infrastructure was able to extend a number of framework agreements. One of these agreements was extended for no less than 10 years. Our division also closed deals with new customers. 2020 will see the delivery of new datacenter services that were developed in 2019.
The leitmotif running through all these successes is the long and fruitful relationship we have with our customers and our business partners. The level of trust that customers place in Simac is incredible. To keep that up, is one of our main goals in 2020.
