Simac opens fifth Belgian office in Lummen

ICT integrator Simac ICT Belgium recently opened a new office in Lummen, Limburg. The new office allows Simac employees to work closer to home and spend less time in traffic. The opening of an additional office is in line with Simac's strategy to plant offices both close to its customers and to its employees.

The new office in Lummen is located at Bosstraat 54 in Lummen, and is mainly used by employees of simac's Business Management Solutions department. This department specializes in monitoring mission-critical infrastructure, networks and applications and proposes solutions to improve both the user experience and the performance of the company.

"Limburg is traditionally a region where we recruit people for our department," says Joël Thys, Director of Business Management Solutions at Simac ICT Belgium. "IT specialists are well trained there. They prefer not to commute to our offices in Kortenberg or Heverlee. Lummen is a perfect place for us, close to motorways that connect our office to the rest of Belgium."

The office in Lummen offers both meeting facilities and high-quality workplaces.

"We now have offices in Kortenberg, Heverlee, Pulderbos, Bastogne and Lummen," says Patrick Bontinckx, CEO of Simac ICT Belgium. "As a result, we have a good spread across Belgium. We always try to establish ourselves close to the residence of our employees and to the sites of our customers. Close to the place of residence of our employees ensures that they spend less time in traffic, which is good for their work/life balance. Being close to our customers means we can intervene quickly when we have strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with them."

Crossroad. Looks like Lummen. Simac Office is there.
