Simac ICT first Belgian Cisco Gold Partner in almost ten years
Cisco has made Simac ICT Belgium a Gold Certified Partner – Cisco’s highest certification for expertise and customer support. Simac is now just one of seven Cisco Gold Partners in Belgium, and the first new one in almost ten years. Higher market sector and broader range Simac expands its potential market with this certification. “Some – mainly large – organizations require their network provider to have the highest status possible,” says Johan Diels, Director of Simac ICT Belgium. “Simac is smaller but therefore also very versatile compared to other ‘Gold’ service providers in Belgium, who are generally all international players. This means we can guarantee faster process and implementation times than our competitors.” From now on Simac will also offer the full Cisco range: Borderless Networks, Datacenter & Collaboration. “Simac’s Gold Partnership increases Cisco’s strength in Belgium and gives our larger clients a greater choice of network experts,” adds Pol Vanbiervliet, Cisco General Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg. There are a number of requirements for obtaining the highest level of certification, including with regard to customer support and satisfaction. As well as having a large number of experts in various certification levels, Gold partners are also required to have at least four Cisco Certified Internetwork Experts (CCIE or the highest possible level of expertise). Simac opted to employ all four experts in-house. Greater appeal No less than 78 of the 170 Simac employees already hold more than 120 various Cisco GOLD Partnership certifications. Simac is committed to using this new status to increase its appeal to the most specialist profiles in the labour market. You can find more information about partner requirements here.
